Bugatti Chiron -- 1,479bhp, 261mph (claimed)
Although we were introduced into the new Bugatti Chiron at 2016, we weren't exposed to the complete power of its 1,479bhp quad-turbo W16 until earlier this season. And when that occurred, any thoughts of this thing being merely a reheated Veyron quickly vanished. When it's finally unleashed with its limiter, the world will be watching.
Ford GT -- 646bhp, 220mph
The Ford GT was first revealed to stunned onlookers at the Detroit motor show way back at the beginning of 2015. It took until 2017 for anybody to get behind the wheel on the street. By that point, the race version had taken a class victory at Le Mans. The street car shouldn't operate. Hurry cars that end up on your way rarely do. However, the GT manages to ride properly, manage skilfully and stay up to its newer-than-space-age looks. A landmark automobile.
Porsche 911 GT2 RS -- 691bhp, 211mph
We waited quite a while for Porsche to flip the 991-generation of 911 into a 'widowmaker'. When the 691bhp GT2 RS came, and we drove it, the most shocking thing was how habitable and un-terrifying it had been. That's modern tyres and aerodynamics for you. And as a result, the GT2 RS blitzed across the Nrburgring at a new record time of 6mins 43.7sec. Note: to replicate such time you need to be handy and courageous as an true professional racing driver.
Lamborghini Huracn Performante -- 641bhp, 205mph
It's a sign of just how spoiled we've become by supercar power stats the Huracn's vital numbers nearly look somewhat limp in this provider. No matter -- this is the best car Lamborghini has ever produced. It's hardly any less user unfriendly compared to the standard Huracn, the downforce made is really spellbinding, and we'll go out on a limb here and state that the baby Lambo may well be the best-sounding car on this whole list. Naturally aspirated V10s for-the-win.
Hennessey Venom F5 -- 1600bhp (claimed), 290mph (claimed)
Hennessey's back again, and he's heading for 300mph. The Venom F5, successor to the car that struck 270mph and recognized Hennessey for a participant in the top rate supercar game, is named after F5 category storms, which have a windspeed rating of up to 318mph. Can the Texan underdog take it into the might of the VW Group, and Koenigsegg? 2017's reveal of the new Venom has been the opening shot of round two. Place your bets...
Apollo Intensa Emozione -- 769bhp, 208mph
The Apollo had us 'Batmobile-inspired styling'. Subsequently it kept on winning us over with its 769bhp Ferrari-derived V12 and purist inspirations. The IE was created for monitor work just, but if all ten get sold, it'll finance a road car that'll hopefully consider at least half as bonkers. That is what supercars are all about, right?
